What good is a CRM system if it can't interface with QuickBooks. QuickBooks has become the standard accounting software used in small/medium businesses. The first time that we used SugarCRM, we were surprised to see that it did not offer an easy way to get data from the CRM to QuickBooks. There was a process that took many hours to complete, but every customer that we introduced this process to, ultimately asked for us to build a custom module to allow them to Export to Quickbooks. We have taken that one step further and created a fully installable SugarCRM module for the SugarCRM 5.* system.

Export Quotes, Opportunities, or Project Information
Once this unique module is installed, it provides specified users with an optional tab called QuickBooks. This tab allows a user to select the specific records that they wish to export from SugarCRM, including what fields of data they want as well. When all records have been chosen, one click on the Export button will send the data to QuickBooks directly.
Customize workflow to include QuickBooks export
Using SugarCRM, you can customize your company's workflow and data flow so that your users generate quotes and change them to a certain status level that indicates they have been "won" and are ready for processing. When they are in this stage, you can simply click on the QuickBooks tab, click Export, and the data will transfer to Quickbooks. Next move the items to a new status that indicates that they have been sent to QuickBooks and do not need to be sent again.
